The USA Bid Committee has contacted 70 venues in the U.S. to possibly participate in hosting games if the U.S. wins the right to host either the 2018 or 2022 World Cup.

Along with the Florida Citrus Bowl here in Orlando (where games were played in 1994) – Dolphin Stadium (Miami), Doak Campbell Stadium (Tallahassee), Raymond James Stadium (Tampa), Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Gainesville) – all made the list.

If the World Cup does come to the U.S., it would be hard for me to think that they would return to the falling apart Citrus Bowl, but Dolphin Stadium in Miami could see a group stage match or two.

Here's the complete list.
